Can I place a custom order?
Yes! We take custom orders of 5 or more skeins in the same colourway. They don't all have to be the same yarn, as long as they are all either superwash or non-superwash.
How do I know if a yarn is superwash?
Most of our yarns are superwash, our non-superwash bases are: Heavenly Lace, Heavenly Fingering, Heavenly DK, Heavenly Aran, Cloud Fingering, Alpaca Cloud, Linum and Link DK.
I didn’t buy enough yarn and I think I’m going to run out, can you help?
We don’t take orders for single skeins, but you might find what you’re looking for at one of our retailers. You could also post an ISO (in search of) in our Ravelry group, as another knitter might be able to help!
I placed two separate orders in the same update, will they be shipped together?
No, we will post them separately. If you’d like us to post them together, write to us at email@example.com, or using the form on our website, and we’ll combine your orders and refund the excess shipping costs.
When will your next shop update be?
We don't have a regular schedule for updates. We aim to update every 4-6 weeks on average, but during busy periods the gap between updates may be longer. The best way to find out about updates is to subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Instagram.
Do you ship internationally?
Absolutely! We ship worldwide.
I am in the EU, why am I being charged tax?
We are registered for IOSS, so any orders below €150 will have the tax % relevant to your country added. This means that it'll go through customs faster and will not attract the often pricey handling fees. This means we are able to operate just like we did before Brexit. In fact, if your order is above €150, we would recommend splitting your order if possible, so IOSS can be applied, as this will often work out cheaper for you.
The yarn label says to rinse before I use it, how do I do this?

Do you run a yarn club?
We don’t currently have a yarn club, but we occasionally make available yarn kits for some of our favourite patterns. Subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to hear about upcoming collaborations.
Where can I see your yarns and colourways?
You can find a list of our current yarn bases here, including prices. All our current colourways can be viewed here. We take great care to ensure our photos show the colours as accurately as possible, however, colourways look slightly different on different yarn bases and colours can look different on different monitors/devices. Please use our pictures as a guide only.
When will my order arrive?
Check if your order ready-to-ship or a pre-order. Pre-orders are dyed to order and are posted 4-6 weeks after purchase. UK customers should receive their parcels within 2-5 business days, international customers should expect to receive their yarn within 2-3 weeks, though please note international orders can take up to 5 weeks to arrive in some circumstances. Feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out when your yarn was shipped, if you are concerned.
Can I visit your studio?
We don’t currently have an open studio, but if you’d like to see our yarns in person, visit one of our retailers. If you’re visiting Brighton (lucky you!), pop into YAK, our local stockist.
Can you wind the yarn for me?
No, sorry we are not able to provide this service.
Do you accept wholesale orders?
