Everyday Sock Mini - Breath
- Description
- Notes
Approx 20g – 75% superwash Merino wool, 25% nylon
85m (93yds) per 20g – fingering weight
To round off our range of sock yarns, we thought we could not be without a smooth merino/nylon blend - a true workhorse yarn! It is perfect for the most durable socks, but is also soft enough for baby items and anything else that will get tons of wear.
Although we recommend hand-washing to prolong the life of your knits, this yarn may be machine washed on a gentle wool cycle, then laid flat to dry.
As with other hand dyed yarns, we would recommend alternating skeins every two rows or so.
We care deeply about the environment and we're aware of the effects that chemicals can have on it, so we make every effort to exhaust all dyes in the dyebath so that no nasties go down the plughole. It is not always possible to exhaust *all* the dye, all the time, especially with certain dyeing techniques, so if you are intending on using your yarn for colourwork or with paler colours it pays to give it a wash first, just to be sure.
We try to ensure all colours look true on our monitor but they can vary substantially. If you’re unsure about a particular colourway please get in touch!
