Bulky Merino - Nimbostratus (discontinued)

Approx 100g - 100% superwash Merino wool
100m (109yds) per 100g skein – Bulky weight

Super soft and squishy and with a high twist. This yarn knits up lovely and warm, with great stitch definition. Perfect for cowls, hats and garments.

Although we recommend hand-washing to prolong the life of your knits, this yarn may be machine washed on a gentle wool cycle, then laid flat to dry.

As with other hand dyed yarns, we would recommend alternating skeins every two rows or so.

We care deeply about the environment and we're aware of the effects that chemicals can have on it, so we make every effort to exhaust all dyes in the dyebath so that no nasties go down the plughole. It is not always possible to exhaust *all* the dye, all the time, especially with certain dyeing techniques, so if you are intending on using your yarn for colourwork or with paler colours it pays to give it a wash first, just to be sure.
