Bluefaced Leicester is next-to-the-skin soft and has a long staple, making it perfect for items that will take a lot of wear. It may, of course, be used for other items such as shawls, scarves, jumpers and baby items. It is naturally lustrous.

Although this yarn is machine washable, we recommned washing by hand to preserve the beauty of your hand knits.

As with any hand dyed yarn, we recommend alternating skeins every two rows or so.

Wash dark colours separately. If using for colourwork, wash beforehand to ensure no dye remains. Instructions can be found here.
