Everyday Luxury - Cumulonimbus (discontinued)
- Description
- Notes
Approx 100g - 100% superwash extra fine Merino wool
360m (394yds) per 100g – fingering/4-ply weight
This 16 micron merino yarn feels just like cashmere, but without the price tag! It's great for shawls and baby items, but if you wish to knit it into a garment, we would recommend a tighter gauge to prolong the life of your item and avoid bobbles. It is extra fine after all!
Although we recommend hand-washing to prolong the life of your knits, this yarn may be machine washed on a gentle wool cycle, then laid flat to dry.
20% VAT will be charged on parcels being sent within the UK, EU VAT at your country's rate
As with other hand dyed yarns, we would recommend alternating skeins every two rows or so.
We care deeply about the environment and we're aware of the effects that chemicals can have on it, so we make every effort to exhaust all dyes in the dyebath so that no nasties go down the plughole. It is not always possible to exhaust *all* the dye, all the time, especially with certain dyeing techniques, so if you intend on using your yarn for colourwork or with paler colours it pays to give it a wash first, just to be sure.
We try to ensure all colours look true on our monitor but they can vary substantially. If you’re unsure about a particular colourway please get in touch!
