This gorgeous pattern, designed by Eri Shimizu, will be available to purchase from Ravelry in March. The listing is for the yarn only. You will receive Everyday Sport in the colour and size you select from the drop down menus.
Haruno is a cardigan with slim-fitting sleeves and a cascading front with lace detailing at the bottom. It's knitted top down with a raglan construction and later shaped to create the lace hem.
The original pullover shown in the photos was knit in colourway Brassica.
Haruno / 春野 - Spring field in Japanese
1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9)
Suggested ease: 7-10 cm / 2 ¾-4” of positive ease.
Shown in size 1 with 11 cm / 4 ¼” positive ease
Finished Measurements
Finished bust (Back x 2): 87 (98, 107, 118, 127) (138, 147, 158, 169) cm / 34 ¼ (38 ¾, 42 ¼, 46 ½, 50) (54 ½, 58, 62 ¼, 66 ½)”
Kit Sizes
You will receive 4 (4, 4, 5, 5) (6, 6, 7, 7) skeins of Everyday Sport in the colourway of your choice (select from the drop down menu)
Please note that the kit is for the yarn only. You'll need a copy of the pattern, which is available from Ravelry.
As with other hand-dyed yarns, we would recommend alternating skeins every two rows or so.
We care deeply about the environment and we're aware of the effects that chemicals can have on it, so we make every effort to exhaust all dyes in the dyebath so that no nasties go down the plughole. It is not always possible to exhaust *all* the dye, all the time, especially with certain dyeing techniques, so if you intend on using your yarn for colourwork or with paler colours it pays to give it a wash first, just to be sure.
We try to ensure all colours look true on our monitor but they can vary substantially. If you’re unsure about a particular colourway please get in touch!
