Approx 50g – 70% silk, 30% extra fine merino
200m (220yds) per 50g – fingering weight
This yarn is so soft and cosy, wearing it will feel like being embraced in a warm cocoon. Its unique texture can be combined with other yarns, or worked solo for super snuggly projects! Although it has fingering weight yardage, this yarn will suit many sport weight projects.
Handwash cool, lay flat to dry.

As with other hand dyed yarns, we would recommend alternating skeins every two rows or so.
We care deeply about the environment and we're aware of the effects that chemicals can have on it, so we make every effort to exhaust all dyes in the dyebath so that no nasties go down the plughole. It is not always possible to exhaust *all* the dye, all the time, especially with certain dyeing techniques, so if you intend on using your yarn for colourwork or with paler colours it pays to give it a wash first, just to be sure.
We try to ensure all colours look true on our monitor but they can vary substantially. If you’re unsure about a particular colourway please get in touch!
