Ripple - Cotton Linen Gauze

Price is per QUARTER metre. For example, if you require 1.5 metres, you’ll need to enter 6 in the quantity box. Fabric will be supplied in one continuous length.

We are so excited to be offering gorgeous fabrics by Nani Iro. Naomi Ito, the designer behind them, creates gorgeous painterly prints on luxurious fabrics.

Subtle and abstract black print with a border that has different grey shades and some handwriting. It looks quite different from a distance and close-up.

The base fabric is linen cotton gauze, which has a lovely and unusual open weave. It is slightly see-through and softens when washed.

50% linen, 50% cotton

As with other hand dyed yarns, we would recommend alternating skeins every two rows or so.

We care deeply about the environment and we're aware of the effects that chemicals can have on it, so we make every effort to exhaust all dyes in the dyebath so that no nasties go down the plughole. It is not always possible to exhaust *all* the dye, all the time, especially with certain dyeing techniques, so if you are intending on using your yarn for colourwork or with paler colours it pays to give it a wash first, just to be sure.

We try to ensure all colours look true on our monitor but they can vary substantially. If you’re unsure about a particular colourway please get in touch!
