PRE-ORDER - Tough Sock

Please note this is a PRE-ORDER item - it'll be dyed to order and posted within 6-8 weeks.

*Colourways often look very different on different yarn bases. Feel free to contact us with a query.

This listing is for a single skein of Tough Sock. Please choose colourway from the drop down menu and select the number of skeins you require.

Approx 100g - 80% superwash Blue Faced Leicester wool, 20% Nylon
365m (400yds) per 100g - Heavy Fingering weight

Tougher than Ellen Ripley but still lovely and soft, this yarn is suitable for any item that will get lots of wear. It can be used for not only socks, but baby items, garments, hats and can be worn next to the skin.

20% VAT will be charged only on parcels being sent within the UK

+

As with other hand dyed yarns, we would recommend alternating skeins every two rows or so.

We care deeply about the environment and we're aware of the effects that chemicals can have on it, so we make every effort to exhaust all dyes in the dyebath so that no nasties go down the plughole. It is not always possible to exhaust *all* the dye, all the time, especially with certain dyeing techniques, so if you are intending on using your yarn for colourwork or with paler colours it pays to give it a wash first, just to be sure.

We try to ensure all colours look true on our monitor but they can vary substantially. If you’re unsure about a particular colourway please get in touch!
