Beeswax – Merino Worsted

Beeswax – Merino Worsted

Approx 100g – 100% Superwash Merino wool
220m (240yds) per 100g – worsted weight

Softness personified, Merino Worsted is another versatile yarn. It can be worn right next to the skin by even the most sensitive souls. It can be used for cowls, hats, sweaters, etc.

As with other hand dyed yarns, I would recommend alternating skeins every 2 rows or so.

Although I recommend hand-washing to prolong the life of your knits, this yarn may be machine washed on a gentle wool cycle, then laid flat to dry.

I care deeply about the environment and am aware of the effects that chemicals can have on it, so I make every effort to exhaust all dyes in the dyebath so that no nasties go down the plughole. It is not always possible to exhaust *all* the dye, all the time, especially with certain dyeing techniques, so if you are intending on using your yarn for colourwork or with paler colours it pays to give it a wash first, just to be sure.

I try to ensure all colours look true on my monitor, but let’s face it, we know they vary, so if you’re unsure about a particular colourway just convo me!
